So we did.

Rubber trees love Malaysia.
The warm, wet tropical climate gives Hevea brasiliensis - the rubber tree - pretty much everything it needs to thrive. And over generations, Malaysia has built an extraordinary depth of knowledge around growing, harvesting and processing natural rubber.
But it isn't just about the trees.
Malaysia has become a global centre for latex technology and manufacturing, with decades of research and expertise behind the products made from it.

Natural rubber begins as latex: a milky liquid collected from the rubber tree.
Once harvested, it goes through careful processing to create a consistent material with one particularly useful talent:
It stretches.

It can also recover its shape, remain flexible and be formed into incredibly thin products. Which makes it rather handy when you're making a condom.
Good rubber matters.
But great rubber doesn't happen by accident.
